Website Improvements

L1: Website ImprovementsWe have made a few additional improvements to the web site. On both the SEPP Calculator [http://72t.net/Sepp/Irc72tCalculator.aspx]page and the SEPP Interest Rate [http://72t.net/InterestRates/RatesFor72t.aspx]page, we have added a statement which lists the maximum interest rate for the current and next two months. This statement is automatically updated as the actual rates change. This month, itresults in the following statement…Estimated Maximum Interest Rates for 72(t) & 72(q) SEPP Plans where the initial distribution occurs during the following time periods: 12/01/2008-12/31/2008: 3.81% | 01/01/2009-01/31/2009: 3.57% | 02/01/2009-02/28/2009: 3.43%2008-12-22 13:14, By: Gfw, IP: [216.80.125.206]
L2: Website ImprovementsHi Gordon,Those new notes about the Max Int rates and corresponding date ranges for initial distribution should eliminate al lot of confusion for many of the newer users of your site. I would just suggest using RED font for that textinfo section, so it is something they are sure to read. Great job as always. You have helped a LOT of people with the site that you provide and maintain! KEN2008-12-23 00:32, By: Ken, IP: [24.9.135.78]

L3: Website ImprovementsThanks for the comments and good suggestion. The time periods and the rates now appear in dark red with the actual rates in bold. And, yes, it should it easier and more straight forward for the average visitor. It was one of those little things that I should have added a long time ago, I just never took the time.2008-12-23 13:07, By: Gfw, IP: [216.80.125.206]

L4: Website ImprovementsIf possible, it might be even better if you could list the periods ( and related rates) on separate lines, rather than as a continuous narrative stream.2008-12-23 16:15, By: dlzallestaxes, IP: [96.245.168.66]
