partial transfer

L1: partial transferHi ,

I have an IRA with a 72T running, which started in 2000.
Is it a violation if Itransferafractionof this account to another custodian & continue my 72T with the current custodian?

Thank you.

L2: partial transferThe thing to remember is that once allocated to a SEPP, the funds always remain part of the original SEPP. Any withdrawal other than the stated planed SEPP distribution would bust the entire SEPP. What you are wanting to do is a reallocation of assets. The other thing that will probably happen is that because you transferred part of the assets elsewhere, they will probably give you a code of ”1” on your 1099 – not amjor item, but a consideration.2004-02-04 10:46, By: Gfw, IP: [172.16.7.101]
