clarification of 5 year/59 1/2 and distribution fr

L1: clarification of 5 year/59 1/2 and distribution frMy apologies if this is a duplicate. Seemed to be having server connection issues.
I will be 54 1/2 on 1/13/06. I will begin my SEPP on 1/17/06. I can modify my plan on 1/18/11. Does this mean that distributions in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 meet IRS requirements or must I take a sixth year distribution? I plan to do semi-annual distributions. However, may I change the distribution frequency from one year to the next?
thanks,

L2: clarification of 5 year/59 1/2 and distribution frFor purposed of a SEPP, you will be 55 for all of 2006. Check out our last payment date calculator at http://72t.net/Sepp/Irc72tLastPaymentDate.aspxand it should answer your questions. If using the 5 year rule, there can be no change in method/distribution until that last day of the 5th year.
The distribution frequency can be changed any time – only the annual amount is really important.2005-12-18 12:02, By: Gfw, IP: [172.16.1.73]
