Interest Rates

L1: Interest Rates
Anyone have any idea when the IRS’ idea of a “reasonable” interest rate will go backto being reasonable?

L2: Interest Rates
The IRS doesn’t set interest rates – they merely follow the treasury rates as published by the Treasury Department.
If rates on Treasury Bonds/Notes go up, the 120% Mid-term AFR will go up. If rates on Treasury Bonds/Notes go down, the 120% Mid-term AFR will go down. You can see the trends on treasury rates
here.
