Transfer an SEPP IRA from one Bank to another

L1: Transfer an SEPP IRA from one Bank to anotherHi,
I have not yet begun an SEPP, so I have a hypothetical question.
OnceI have begun a series of SEPP withdrawals from my IRA, can I transfer that IRA from one bank to another before the first modification date for that series of SEPPs?
Thank you!2011-06-07 20:55, By: NJonge01, IP: [65.119.202.134]

L2: Transfer an SEPP IRA from one Bank to anotherHi, I see this in another reply, “Do you know not to move the money after you start the 72t.”
My question is answered. Thanks!2011-06-07 21:14, By: NJonge01, IP: [65.119.202.134]

L3: Transfer an SEPP IRA from one Bank to anotherI do not know the details of the posating that you saw, but the heading is misleading.
In general, there is no problem if you transfer an ENTIRE SEPP 72-T IRA from one brker or bank to another.
HOWEVER, there have been IRS rulings that may cause a problem if you do a PARTIAL TRANSFER of less than the full SEPP 72-T account balance.2011-06-07 21:40, By: dlzallestaxes, IP: [96.227.217.194]
