L1: PLR 2005-32062This morning, the IRS published the aforementioned PLR. It is another affirmation of the annual recalculation concept; in this case using the annuitization method and recalculating each and every December 31st.
This is the 4th PLR (post Rev. Rule 2002-62) on this subject and there is a 5th in the pipeline. I think we can now safely assume that this concept is cast in concrete as approved.
