single premium deferred fixed annuity

L1: single premium deferred fixed annuityI am 50/retired. I have not finalized butI will be using a single premium deferred fixed annuity with 5.55% return.I understand that I will be able to get principal back if I don’t withdraw more than interest earned. Will I be able to use lesser interest rate than earned on 72t?Site is very informative…Thanks2002-09-19 01:52, By: frisky, IP: [127.0.0.1]
L2: single premium deferred fixed annuityAt age 50, you have a life expectancy of 33.1 years. If you check out our 72t calculators, only the Minumum Distribution (#1) method will have a withdrawal of less than interest earned. The other two methods have a required payment that will exceed interest earned and deplete the principal/premium.If this is a new annuity, also make sure that the selected withdrawal amount fits in the penalty free withdrawal provisions of the annuity contract. 2002-09-19 06:01, By: Gfw, IP: [127.0.0.1]
