One time change and divorce

L1: One time change and divorceI believe I asked this question once before but the answer didn’t address what I was specifically asking.
Lets say someone started 72-t and picked the ammortization option. The calculation was made using the joint table because he was married. Since starting, he was divorced. Now he wants to take advantage of the one time change to the minimum distribution method. In making this new calculation, would he use the single life table since he is now single???2004-12-07 10:32, By: Andy, IP: [69.53.78.183]

L2: One time change and divorceHe can use the single life table whether or not he is single. In reality, there is really no reason to use the joint table. 2004-12-07 10:40, By: Gfw, IP: [172.16.1.70]
