1st year Distibrution

L1: 1st year DistibrutionMy question is on the 1st year distribution. I will be starting plan in february. using 1.14 rate
(rate should be higher in Feb) New plan
BORN 2/14/1960
$688,000 in account
Amortization Method 26,189.23
want to receive monthy payments
26189.23 divided by 12 =$2182.43
my question is my payments come out to 24006.79 because of 11 months.(2182.43 per month)
IT says a series of subtantially equall payments made annually.
do I take an extra 2182.43 to make the first year distribution the same as year 2,3,4,5,6
Does calander on yearly payments go from 1/1/2012 to 12/31/2012
thanks ron2013-01-08 14:07, By: Ron, IP: [99.142.23.57]

L2: 1st year DistibrutionWhile the February rate may be higher, it can’t be used by a plan started in February – you would have to start your plan in March to use the February rate.
I didn’t check your calculation, but in the first year for a plan started in February, you can take either 11/12s or the full annual payment.2013-01-08 14:15, By: Gfw, IP: [205.178.67.189]
