selecting a CPA?

L1: selecting a CPA?I must do a 72(t). What selection criteria/process would you suggest to get a good CPA? Should I always select one who’s experienced in doing this, or can any CPA do this? What are some good questions to ask? Thanks for the site…2002-05-11 09:07, By: lb, IP: [127.0.0.1]
L2: selecting a CPA?If I were to select someone to assist, I would study and read the FAQ section – you’ll have more than enough questions to ask.And if I was going to pay someone, I would definately want someone familiar with 72(t).2002-05-11 13:03, By: Gfw, IP: [127.0.0.1]

L2: selecting a CPA?Not that I am unbiased or anything, but you will quickly learn that 99 out of 100 CPAs as well as tax attorneys know little or nothing about 72(t) and SEPPs. This is not a black mark on their respective characters or education; rather, it is simply that 99 out of 100 have not had to face the intracies of SEPPs & therefore have had no reason to study this particular portion of the IRC.If you are willing to deal long distance, feel free to drop me a note.TheBadgerwjstecker@wispertel.net2002-05-11 18:44, By: TheBadger, IP: [127.0.0.1]
