5 Year Requirement

L1: 5 Year RequirementI am confused in determining when the 5 year requirement has been met. Or perhaps it is confusion about what constitutes the distribution date. I withdrew the first monies from my SEPP on June 1, 2009 in an amount for the whole year. The next four withdrawals were done in January of 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. I was born on 10/15/1951
Can I begin modifications in January 2014 or must I wait until June 2, 2014?2013-08-17 20:36, By: jkerval, IP: [98.165.41.13]

L2: 5 Year RequirementUse our calculator at http://72t.net/72t/Calculator/First/Modification/Date
You are looking at 06/02/2014 anything before that would bust the plan. Five years end on 365 days times 5 years plus a few days to account for any leap years.2013-08-17 22:00, By: Gfw, IP: [205.178.51.82]

L3: 5 Year RequirementThanks for your confirmation on determining end date for the 5 year requirement.
I have taken 5 distributions of equal sums. So do I need to take any distribution prior to the June date when I will change my distribution amount?

L4: 5 Year RequirementIf you have taken the ful 5 years of distributions, leave it alone until after the first modification date.2013-08-18 19:30, By: Gfw, IP: [205.178.51.82]
