Changing IRA portfolio investment mix when under a 72t distribution

L1: Changing IRA portfolio investment mix when under a 72t distributionHello, I haven’t seen this asked before. I am about to create a new SEPP plan and my birthday is 4/8/67. My first date of distribution will probably be 1/30/2018.
When I put an IRA under a 72t, I know I can’t add or make changes to the account but does that also mean that I can’t change the investments inside the IRA or mix of investments? I’m trying to determine if I have to make all of my investment decisions before I turn on the 72t or if I can make adjustments as time goes on such as moving into T (AT&T) if it takes a dip down to $32/$35 to lock in a high dividend and reducing risk of depleting my account.
Many thanks for your time in reviewing and answering.
