Age 55 rule relative to retiring at 50

L1: Age 55 rule relative to retiring at 50In 2000 I retired at age 50. I have not touched my 401k but plan to shortly. If I wait until I’m 55 next yearwill I able to take penalty free withdrawals? I was under the impression that I needed to be over 55 years old at the actual time of retirement to be eligible.2005-09-17 11:34, By: michaelt, IP: [152.163.100.202]
