Life Expectancy tables

L1: Life Expectancy tablesWhy are there two different 72T calculators? If starting a new 72T distribution, can you use either, or just the 2002-62 calculator? The 89-25 calculator seems to allow you to use multiple life expectancy tables. I am 57 and want to get the highest payment possible, what should I do?2004-01-20 16:44, By: Bob, IP: [138.88.152.112]
L2: Life Expectancy tables

For a short answer, if you are currently starting a tax-qualified SEPP, then your only option is the calculator that uses the assumptions of Rev.Rul. 20-02-62.

However, you seem to be starting at the wrong end. Start by reading through the FAQ andreading a few of the articles that we have posted…you”ll soon see why there are two calculators and more to setting up a SEPP than merely calculating a payment.
