can one change accounts during a SEPP

L1: can one change accounts during a SEPPi rolled over my 401k to am american funds account and then created a SEPP. is it possible to move the funds to another account, i.e., an annuity (another company)? or is this a disallowed change which could result in a penalty? thanks a lot!2002-11-18 19:32, By: lutamata, IP: [127.0.0.1]

Moving your IRA assets from trustee-to-trustee or custodian-to-custodian is perfectly acceptable.
