Dates under recalculation method….

L1: Dates under recalculation method….Thanks Badger for your answer concerning accuracy requirements, etc. It was very helpful indeed. Am I correct in understanding that in utilizing the recalculation method for annuitization, if one were to start a SEPP effective on 7/1/02 the standard procedure in order to comply with the rules would be that then on 1/1/03 the administrator would commence with a revised payout rate? Or is the recalculation date based upon it becoming effective 12 months from 7/1/02 or in other words on 6/30/03?Thanks again.endgame2002-04-22 11:38, By: endgame, IP: [127.0.0.1]
L2: Dates under recalculation method….You are now getting into an area that depends on the overall design of the plan and can really only be answered if the full plan design were known. For most, this is the point where if you feel comfortable with your knowledge level, you design and implement your plan. If not, you should be seeking professional help. Remember that if you are going to go after anything other than a plain vanilla wrapper, you should probably also get the help of a professional.2002-04-22 14:05, By: Gfw, IP: [127.0.0.1]
