withdrawl% and future rollover

L1: withdrawl% and future rolloverAm I correct to assume that that the allowable withdrawl rate % is based on the total of my ira,s? And if so how is this affected by future ira rollovers from my 401k after I have already started seep withdrawls from an existing ira?2002-04-11 18:16, By: John, IP: [127.0.0.1]
L2: RE: withdrawl% and future rolloverYou are wrong in your first assumption – any withdrawal would be based on the designated IRA accounts to be included. In addition, future rollovers would have no impact.Check out the FAQ and you will find detailed answers to your questions.2002-04-11 18:21, By: Gfw, IP: [127.0.0.1]

L2: RE: withdrawl% and future rolloverAm I correct to assume that that the allowable withdrawl rate % is based on the total of my ira,s?Actually it is not. The rate of withdrawal can be based on all, some or just one of your defered accounts. And if so how is this affected by future ira rollovers from my 401k after I have already started seep withdrawls from an existing ira?If you base a SEPP withdrawal on an existing group of IRAs and then at a subsequent date perform a 401(k) to IAR rollover, DO NOT roll the 401(k) assets into the SEPP IRAs; instead do the rollover into a new non-SEPP rollover account.TheBadger2002-04-12 12:03, By: TheBadger, IP: [127.0.0.1]
