Annual Distribution Timing

L1: Annual Distribution TimingI’ve read through many of the postings here but have not found an answer to my specific question apologies if this has been covered before.

Suppose I start my SEPP plan on June 16th, 2007 using $10K annual distributions. As I understand it, I can take a full $10K distribution at that time (not treating 2007 as a stub year). Can I then take the $10K distribution for 2008 and subsequent years in January of those years, or must I wait until June 16th?

You can take them anytime during the year, just be careful not to wait too long in a year (like requesting it on December 31).
