Calculators

L1: CalculatorsGordon:
I am helping a friend work the site and I have a question about your calculators. The current calculator has 5% as the Reasonable Interest Rate as the default. Doesn’t the calculator automatically put the most recent monthly 120% AFR into the calculator or is this a manual input? It’s been a long time since I ran one.

L2: CalculatorsMy screen shows5.15 is the appropriate AFR. The IRS penalty rate (5.0% on teh screen)is a manual entry.

L2: CalculatorsI think I broke the code!
Does the calculator automatically use the highest of the two preceeding months rate? So for July distribution start dates, and we are still in July, my guess is you use the highest of May or June rates. Right?

L2: CalculatorsGood guess – you can also check the rates at http://72t.net/ED_Rates.aspx2005-07-19 13:54, By: Gfw, IP: [172.16.1.72]
