L2: Joint Calcualtor verses individualFrom all of the postings I have read on this sitefor the past 3-4 years, I have seen that you can use either one, BUT the SINGLE (individual) LIFE one yields the higher payment, and it can be used even if you are married, so most people just stick to the single one. If you use joint, and spouse is much younger than you, I think it reduces the payment. If you play with the calculcator, you will see how it changes the payment amount.
