Joint life vs. Uniform table

L1: Joint life vs. Uniform table
New Sepp
3/21/64 DOB
9/6/2018 1st dist.
I continue to get greater Sepp amounts when using Joint life vs. Uniform table (e.g. $22,963.90 vs. $ 21,511.01 – Amort. method). Concerned as the site says Uniform will always yields higher sepp’s. Beginning Sepp $ 476,505.66. Please advise. Thanks

L2: Joint life vs. Uniform table
The uniform table is nothing more than the joint table with a beneficiary 10 years younger the the IRA owner.
For any SEPP, using the single life table will always produce the highest distribution amount which is why no one uses the joint tables.

Question… where does the site state “site says Uniform will always yields higher sepp’s”

L3: Joint life vs. Uniform table
Yes, that is correct. The combination of the single life table and the highest interest rate available produces the max SEPP distribution per dollar of account balance.
