Options for Life Expectancy Table for SEPP

L1: Options for Life Expectancy Table for SEPPI am considering starting a new SEPP starting February 2018. My date of birth is 6/20/1962. I am married and my wife (of the same age) is the beneficiary on my IRA account. Do I have to use the Joint Life Expectancy table because I’m married or can I opt to use the Single Life Expectancy table? I would rather use the Single Life Expectancy since it results in a higher annual SEPP payment. Thank you for your help.2016-12-20 19:00, By: Greytail, IP: [68.235.90.64]
L2: Options for Life Expectancy Table for SEPPYou can and should use the single life table with the amortization method to produce the largest SEPP distribution per dollar of account balance.2016-12-21 00:53, By: Alan S, IP: [174.126.90.174]

L2: Options for Life Expectancy Table for SEPPThanks for the reply, that is what I was planning on doing, I just wasn’t sure that I could use the Single Life Expectancy table if you are married.2016-12-21 20:05, By: Greytail, IP: [68.235.90.64]
