Pre age 59 1/2 distributions.

L1: Pre age 59 1/2 distributions.I am 41 years old with a 401K balance of $505,000 I want to retire to the Philippines within the next 12 months.Approx. $85,000 of my plan is after tax money. Can I recieve the after tax money(the portion that I put in) at the time I roll my 401K to a IRA?Also am I right to assume that at age 60 I am free of the 72T restrictions or must I keep up the withdrawls until I die? help I am a little confused. L2: RE: Pre age 59 1/2 distributions.Could you tell me what my distribution would be at age 42 with $420,000 in my plan at 6.60% return. the chart only goes to age 59? do I have enough to last until I die? I will also have a company pension of $1,000 per mo at age 65 and Social Security benifits at age 67. Thank you.2002-03-20 13:44, By: Huntley, IP: [127.0.0.1]

L2: RE: Pre age 59 1/2 distributions.Hello Huntley:When you terminate your employer; the $85,000 after-tax monies will go directly to you w/o tax consequence. The remainging $420k, I am presuming, you will rollover to an IRA. You can commence SEPPs immediately @ $30,686 per annum which must run, in your case until age 59 1/2; after which you would be free to take as little or as much as you desire.TheBadger2002-03-20 14:10, By: TheBadger, IP: [127.0.0.1]
