L1: When are your 59 and one half?I began taking SEPP payments in 2003, with an annual payment in February. My birthday is in December, and I just turn 59 in 2010. Am I obligated to take a Feb 2011 SEPP payment because I’m not 59.5 yet? Or, because these are annual payments, can I stop now because I will be 59.5 in May/June?

L2: When are your 59 and one half?As long as you have met the 5-year rule, your can choose to take or not take the 2011 payment.
