So if I start a sepp in March and don’t draw for Jan. and Feb. my yearly amounts will look like this. Using the $12,000 a year example.
2004 = $10,000
2005 = $12,000
2006 = $12,000
2007 = $12,000

As you have presented the facts; yes, it would be a busted SEPP plan.

However, on the presumption that you have satisfied the age 59 1/2 rule; if you added $2000 of distributions in Jan/Feb of 2009; then it would be okay.
