Q. Are the online SEPP calculators accurate?

A. Don’t just accept the results of any one calculator – check them against each other. And don’t blindly accept the results from an advisor. You are responsible for the accuracy of all distributions so be sure to study and understand the calculations as described by the IRS.
IRS Revenue Ruling 2002-62 Section 2 describes the three valid methods to calculate SEPP distributions.
